What a beautiful snowfall we have this morning in Cincinnati, as I prepare to give you Golf Lessons all day. I Sure am glad Meadow Links & Golf Academy provides us a huge Indoor Studio to keep 'plowing through the snow' with your Golf Game.
In my answer to this very good SAQ yesterday, we discussed how to get constructively mad.
This helpful and patient anger is the base-line for relevant Golf Improvement in the Winter. The things you do, at first, will seldom seem very exciting. Your determination though, based on the emotion we discussed yesterday, will enable you to 'keep going' through the seemingly endless cold, dreary days of Winter.
'HOW' To Improve?
I've seen so many ways - it would take me pages upon pages to describe all of them. So I have to choose just one topic for now.
Let's choose...
Now all of you familiar with 'The Dragnet Analogy' will immediately realize that this is different than 3 other ways of evaluating and improving your Golf Swing, right?
Those would be, according to your: 'Feels & Perception', 'Ball-Flights' and 'Teacher's Opinion'. For this discussion, let's stick with 'On The Video'.
Get a full-length mirror, so you can 'see' your set-up and Golf Swing, as much as humanly possible. Get two of them if you're really digging this...one for the 'down-the-line' camera angle as well.
Then get a Video camera and start recording. I recommend a Flip. You can find them a bunch of places. I've shown many of you how it works during your Golf Lessons.
With the Flip, you can put the swings onto your computer with the V1Home.com software, thus enabling you to draw telestrator lines on it - like I do during your Golf Lessons.
You can also then send it to me for a quick On-Line Golf Lesson, very inexpensively. You can also keep this Golf Lesson on your computer.
The great advantage of this? You have no 'Feel & Perception' of impact and no 'Ball-Flight' and no 'Teacher's Opinion' to mentally process/evaluate. Your observational skills regarding your Golf Swing 'On the Video' improve a bunch!
Therefore, after doing this all Winter, your 'Golf Swing: On The Video' can really get transformed.
Gotta go shovel the drive, now...then help you improve at Meadow Links.
See you tomorrow.

get suggestions...think I'll get to work on video, mirrors, v1home.com software and sending to you soon

Trying to practice in the off season can be difficult. Those suggestion you have, which I have looked into are good. The biggest problem is to apply them, in the snow. But since there's time to look at the courses, I think I'll be better prepared for the game.
