To review a little...
SAQ stands for 'Should've Asked Question'. These are questions I'd suggest you ask, because the 'Right Question' will often help your Golf Game - even more than the 'Right Answer'.
I've seldom heard these questions asked, despite giving PGA Golf Lessons all day long everyday for many, many years.
By becoming more Honest about your game, as I described yesterday - you will be well-positioned to ask 'How Can I Make My Golf Game Simple?'.
Firstly, I'd say, watch TV and purposely ignore and/or disagree with almost everything these high-profile folks say.
Their JOB is to sensationalize every shot...to make it suspenseful and exciting and dastardly and complicated and incredible and exhilarating and unimaginable and impossible and phenomenal and improbable and unlikely and and and.....
'Hey man, it's a 15-foot putt!!!'
It ain't that complicated....and it's only 1 of 280 shots that PGA Tour Player will hit over 4 days...it ain't that big of a deal. If the Player stressed about each of these as much as the Announcer, he'd have a nervous breakdown on about the 11th hole of each round.
This 'TV Golf' has complicated the Game in the mind of the normal golfer...to your detriment.
Ignore the Announcers for the first few months of 2010 as you watch the January and February West-Coast events...You provide your own 'commentary'. Don't allow them to interpret the facts for you...you interpret the facts of what's going on there - for yourself.
Some of my Students' best Golf Learning has occured when they come in for a Lesson on a Monday and we constructively 'interpret' what occurred during the PGA tour event the previous Sunday afternoon.
You'll be amazed how this will make your Golf Game much more Simple as you begin to tee it up in March and April.
Secondly, adhere to my 'description of golf reality' as there only being...
DRIVE, APPROACH, PITCH, CHIP, PUTT. (Bunker shots being a subset of PITCH shots).
