I will answer all your questions about how to start your HomeSchooled child in Golf as a Player.
I'll also let you know the many unique ways I've helped Tri-State Junior Golfers define and experience their own long-term GOLF...SUCCESS, even to the point of winning State, Regional and National Championships.
Many young people I know have also become very successful Caddies at one of the 15 Cincinnati Country Clubs with effective Caddy Programs. I'll describe to you what they've done...many even earning the Evans Caddy Scholarship to Miami University or Ohio State University, which gave them a totally Free College Education.
This Friday you can also ask questions of a current Honor Caddy from Clovernook Country Club. He has always been HomeSchooled and has caddied 110 rounds in his first 2 seasons at Clovernook. Clovernook has produced more Evans Scholar recipients than any other course in Ohio, except Inverness Country Club in Toledo.
This young man is also one of the best Junior Golfers in the Cincinnati area, having won the GCGA Points Race to be their Junior Player Of The Year in 2011.

Congratulations to Bobby Welch of West Union High School Golf Team. One of his 3 shots in the Christmas Closest To The Pin Contest ended up only 6'1" away from the hole on #7 at Monterey Beach. Rick Henthorn of Wyoming got second and Travis Butte of Milan, Indiana got third. (Taylor C. Suggs was not eligible for a prize.)

Six 2011 S.uggs U.niversity of G.uided G.olf S.uccess Players enjoyed a great golf learning experience last Saturday in Winton Woods at The Mill Course and Meadow Links & Golf Academy...as part of the 13 benefits they receive from their Enrollment, besides their Private Lessons.
They hail from all around the Tri-State area.
Ben Cors (the smallest) is 9-years-old from Wooster, Ohio - and just shot 33(-3) in a Columbus, Ohio US Kids Golf Tour Event. From left-to-right now; Christine Hoy is 17-years old from Dayton, Ohio - and just won their Dayton Girls Junior Metropolitan Championship. Alyssa Akiyama is 14-years-old from Terrace Park, Ohio and just finished 2nd in a GCGA Junior Tour Event. Taylor Suggs is 14-years-old from Greenhills, Ohio and is the current Points Leader in the GCGA Season-Long Junior Tour. Jeff Sullivan is 26-years-old from Fairfield, Ohio - and just reached the Final 8 in the GCGA Tony Blom Metropolitan Tournament. Quincy Hogan is 17-years old from Carrollton, Kentucky and shot 83 this day, as she recovers from injuries.
Each of these good young persons is a hard-working and self-directed learner. Congrats to each of them on their continued long-term GOLF...SUCCESS!
This Sunday Morning is the first ‘Family Golf Tour’ Event of 2011. It happens at Meadow Links & Golf Academy and is a 4-Person Family Scramble, and only costs $40 for the whole team.
This is a fantastic way for you to compete with your Juniors/Parents instead of just watching them…and it really engenders a whole lotta’ humility all throughout the Family (if ya’ know what I mean).
As at each Family Golf Tour Event, I will Video each Competitor’s Swing and e-mail you the Analysis. I’m proud to say that a S.U.G.G.S. Player won the 2010 Season-Long Points Race; Zane Brownrigg and his Family. Their Award Plaque is now on display at Meadow Links & Golf Academy.
