Golf V.I.P. (Very Improved Player) For January: John Garrity

   NEW For '09!!!

   January '09's V.I.P. is John Garritty.  John has an Optometrist Practice here in Cincinnati.

   I began helping him about two years ago.  In a previous Post, I mentioned his Hole-In-One during a "Play With The Pro" Lesson last September.  You'll find it to the right under the 'Joel Watching Golf' Category.   Now I can share with you a note I recently received from him: 

Hey Joel,

Thanks for the emails, keeping me up to date.  It’s been a hectic time lately, and to be honest, I’m poor when it comes to correspondence.  Unfortunately, I haven’t touched a club since October, but my last round ( at O’Bannon CC) was a 44-34 for a 78.  That’s the first time I’ve ever been under par for nine holes.  So, I am looking forward to getting back out again soon and hope to schedule something with you in spring.  In the meantime, I’ll try to check in on the website periodically.

   Keep looking for John's name on the 'Page Of Fame'.  I think he might just keep having more and more 'Best-Ever' scores to place there in '09.
